CFO is a Christian camp that takes place once a year. It is a chance for people of different backgrounds, denominations, and ages to get away for a week in order to come into balance spiritually and mentally as well as a time of fellowship with other Christians.

Camp Farthest Out is a movement founded by Dr. Glenn Clark in Minnesota in 1930. The Lord gave the dream to Dr. Clark of groups of people meeting together for a week at a time away from telephones, radios, and newspapers, to come into balance spiritually, mentally and physically.

There are over 60 camps distributed over eight area zones in the United States and Canada. Additionally, growing out of Glenn Clark's inspiration, Camps Farthest Out International - a separate corporation of CFO - has about 90 camps and retreats located outside North America, all around the globe.

CFO believes in the reality and leadership of Jesus Christ, the naturalness and power of prayer, and in the two Great Commandments of love as our highest law and goal. It believes that spiritual living includes the whole person - body, mind and spirit.

CFO is not a church or part of a denomination. All campers are urged to faithfulness in the church of their choice. Indeed, the CFO experience expands and intensifies the effectiveness of one's own church activity.
